Ep 131: What does resilience serve?
Show Notes Transcript

Resilience has gotten a bad rap recently. The ability to “bounce back” has been conflated with the requirement to bounce back into oppressive dynamics. But it’s those oppressive dynamics, not the bouncing back, that’s ultimately the problem.

In this episode, April explores the difference between the gift of resilience and the ways in which it has been weaponized by capitalist and neo-colonialist contexts, and previews the work she’ll be leading in the Redefining Resilience workshop next week.

April Baskin: You're listening
to the joyous justice podcast, a

00:00:12,420 --> 00:00:16,050
weekly show hosted by April
Baskin with Tracie Guy-Decker in

3
00:00:16.050,0:00:20.478
a complex world in which systemic oppression causes us to deny others

0:00:20.478,0:00:24.000
and our own humanity, let's dedicate ourselves

0:00:24.000,0:00:27.926
 to the pursuit and embodiment of wholeness, love, and thriving.

0:00:27.926,0:00:30.881
in the world and in our own lives.

It's time to heal and flourish our way

0:00:33.645,0:00:35.645
to a more joyously just future

4
00:00:42,240 --> 00:00:48,390
My friend, in recent days and
years, as political analysis has

5
00:00:48,390 --> 00:00:52,890
continued to evolve in the
direction of collective

6
00:00:52,890 --> 00:00:56,370
liberation, as movements are
making a lot of progress, which

7
00:00:56,370 --> 00:01:01,320
is why all this blowback and
repression and efforts to harm

8
00:01:01,320 --> 00:01:05,160
our movements are happening is
because our work, our movement

9
00:01:05,160 --> 00:01:11,280
work, is working. And in the
midst of all of this, as

10
00:01:11,400 --> 00:01:16,380
collective consciousness has
continued to advance and evolve

11
00:01:16,380 --> 00:01:21,090
certain wonderful concepts are
getting a bad rap, and one of

12
00:01:21,090 --> 00:01:26,310
them is resilience. And so I
just want to take a few minutes

13
00:01:26,700 --> 00:01:32,790
with you today, to reclaim
resilience. Sidenote, I would

14
00:01:32,790 --> 00:01:39,000
also love to do similar work
around self care around co

15
00:01:39,000 --> 00:01:45,450
creation or law of attraction,
various themes that are or

16
00:01:45,540 --> 00:01:54,420
characteristics or practices
that are centrally part of the

17
00:01:54,420 --> 00:01:57,720
lived human experience that have
been a part of humanity for a

18
00:01:57,720 --> 00:02:03,690
long time. I want to invite
folks, I want to invite you, if

19
00:02:03,690 --> 00:02:07,920
you haven't already, to bring in
some additional nuance and

20
00:02:07,920 --> 00:02:13,860
precision. And are we actually
is is it resilience that needs

21
00:02:13,860 --> 00:02:17,220
to be attacked. Because from
where I sit, resilience is

22
00:02:17,220 --> 00:02:20,760
incredibly important. Resilience
has made the difference in my

23
00:02:20,760 --> 00:02:25,050
family achieving their dreams or
not, and my family surviving or

24
00:02:25,050 --> 00:02:31,110
not, and me and my loved ones
thriving or not thriving. And

25
00:02:31,110 --> 00:02:35,070
the thing I want to say is, is
that I don't think there's

26
00:02:35,070 --> 00:02:39,900
anything wrong with resilience.
What's wrong is the context and

27
00:02:39,900 --> 00:02:45,870
the that is placed within. And
the ways it is leveraged to what

28
00:02:45,870 --> 00:02:50,370
end to what end, right. So if we
look it up on the internet, or

29
00:02:50,370 --> 00:02:53,190
in a book, a number of
dictionaries say that resilience

30
00:02:53,190 --> 00:02:57,900
is the capacity to bounce back,
right, which, on its face seems

31
00:02:57,900 --> 00:03:03,870
pretty neutral and positive. The
problem comes when people have

32
00:03:03,870 --> 00:03:08,430
been conditioned to in terms of
what the norm are, what we are

33
00:03:08,430 --> 00:03:13,590
bouncing back to is and feel a
rigidity and disempowerment and

34
00:03:13,590 --> 00:03:18,180
a stuckness that bouncing back
means bouncing back to an

35
00:03:18,180 --> 00:03:22,560
oppressive norm. Right. And so,
I wanted to give you a bit of a

36
00:03:22,560 --> 00:03:26,940
preview of some of the amazing
work we're going to do in my

37
00:03:26,940 --> 00:03:32,700
free live workshop. And that we
do in my paid programs, around

38
00:03:32,730 --> 00:03:37,140
reclaiming a bunch of really
fundamental tools and

39
00:03:37,140 --> 00:03:41,190
perspectives and practices that
are pivotally and critically

40
00:03:41,190 --> 00:03:47,280
important to have in our
toolkit. But my resilience and

41
00:03:47,280 --> 00:03:51,930
my self care, and by law, law of
attraction or co creation, as I

42
00:03:51,930 --> 00:03:55,770
like to think of it as the same
as mainstream

43
00:03:55,829 --> 00:04:02,249
Unknown: or capitalistic self
care resilience in the context

44
00:04:02,249 --> 00:04:08,129
of Neo colonialism, right? For
me, part of why I decided to

45
00:04:08,129 --> 00:04:12,959
shift the name of my free live
workshop and also shift some of

46
00:04:12,959 --> 00:04:17,399
the content of it in the coming
week to be framed around

47
00:04:17,399 --> 00:04:22,769
redefining resilience is because
I want to invite you to redefine

48
00:04:22,769 --> 00:04:25,889
resilience. And the thing is, is
that I'm not actually going to

49
00:04:25,889 --> 00:04:31,229
be redefining resilience itself.
What we will be redefining is

50
00:04:31,289 --> 00:04:35,459
what resilience is in service
of. So I just want to make this

51
00:04:35,459 --> 00:04:40,859
as short and pithy and quick
episode here, in part as a form

52
00:04:40,889 --> 00:04:43,709
of encouragement in the time
that you would otherwise be

53
00:04:43,709 --> 00:04:46,019
listening to head to the show
notes or head to Joyce

54
00:04:46,019 --> 00:04:52,739
justice.com and sign up to join
me in this next week's upcoming

55
00:04:52,769 --> 00:04:57,059
redefining resilience live
workshop with me and a host of

56
00:04:57,089 --> 00:05:00,599
other really phenomenal,
eclectic endeavor. joules from

57
00:05:00,599 --> 00:05:06,689
all over the world from multiple
different career paths and areas

58
00:05:06,689 --> 00:05:12,029
of activism to be in
conversation around, what are

59
00:05:12,029 --> 00:05:15,689
the different key components of
profound resilience and, and

60
00:05:15,689 --> 00:05:19,589
starting out on day zero on
Monday with on the first day of

61
00:05:19,589 --> 00:05:20,279
spring

62
00:05:21,870 --> 00:05:25,530
April Baskin: with redefining
resilience and redefining, not

63
00:05:25,530 --> 00:05:28,200
actually redefining resilience
itself, but redefining our

64
00:05:28,200 --> 00:05:33,270
understanding of the purpose of
resilience, and what and whom

65
00:05:33,270 --> 00:05:37,590
and what it's in service of.
Right, because a lot of the

66
00:05:37,590 --> 00:05:41,880
critique about resilience is
largely from my perspective,

67
00:05:41,880 --> 00:05:46,680
actually, about people
perceiving that resilience is

68
00:05:46,680 --> 00:05:50,880
meant to is is designed to bring
people back into oppressive

69
00:05:50,880 --> 00:05:55,920
contexts. Ah, resilience is
whatever we decide, particularly

70
00:05:55,920 --> 00:05:58,740
in community, particularly in
partnership, is whatever we

71
00:05:58,740 --> 00:06:04,170
decide that it is. And in my
afro indigenous Jewish family,

72
00:06:04,350 --> 00:06:07,920
resilience has consistently at
least with my immediate family,

73
00:06:07,920 --> 00:06:11,790
and a number of descendants, and
a number of ancestors from whom

74
00:06:11,790 --> 00:06:16,230
I from whom I descend,
resilience is in service of our

75
00:06:16,230 --> 00:06:20,670
dreams and our highest values
and aspirations. And it is

76
00:06:20,850 --> 00:06:25,860
revered and respected, and that
grit. And that willingness to

77
00:06:25,860 --> 00:06:29,670
snap back not to the crappy
norm, but to be pulled back by

78
00:06:29,670 --> 00:06:33,750
certain things, nourish and
resource ourselves help one

79
00:06:33,750 --> 00:06:40,320
another, and use that as a
launchpad to further clarify our

80
00:06:40,320 --> 00:06:44,310
strategy and what we want. And
at least continue, if not

81
00:06:44,490 --> 00:06:48,840
expedite our path in certain
ways cut what is cut or off or

82
00:06:48,840 --> 00:06:52,320
release different patterns,
dynamics relationships that are

83
00:06:52,320 --> 00:06:55,800
no longer serving us that might
have contributed to some of

84
00:06:55,800 --> 00:07:00,990
those challenges, and then snap
back onto the path of being in

85
00:07:00,990 --> 00:07:05,460
alignment with being loving,
courageous warriors working in

86
00:07:05,460 --> 00:07:08,790
the direction of collective
liberation, working in the

87
00:07:08,790 --> 00:07:12,300
direction of our dreams, working
in the direction of collective

88
00:07:12,300 --> 00:07:17,010
love and joy. If you are
interested in hearing more about

89
00:07:17,010 --> 00:07:21,480
this, and then learning about
the nuts and bolts of having a

90
00:07:21,480 --> 00:07:28,590
more robust, comprehensive,
holistic approach and analysis

91
00:07:28,590 --> 00:07:32,910
and strategy that is super
customizable, for your specific

92
00:07:32,910 --> 00:07:37,320
needs at any given moment, and
also is adaptive and can be is

93
00:07:37,320 --> 00:07:41,070
agile and adaptive and is
flexible, as different

94
00:07:41,070 --> 00:07:45,900
circumstances or scenarios
change what is a core framework

95
00:07:46,620 --> 00:07:52,620
and set of principles, and a
diversity of practices that can

96
00:07:52,620 --> 00:07:59,430
support you in being
consistently resilient in

97
00:07:59,430 --> 00:08:03,510
service of your dreams in
service of collective

98
00:08:03,510 --> 00:08:08,070
liberation, in service of
individual and collective well

99
00:08:08,070 --> 00:08:11,880
being. That's how I understand
resilience. So I am team

100
00:08:11,880 --> 00:08:16,410
resilience all day every day,
because I come from parents and

101
00:08:16,410 --> 00:08:21,480
ancestors, who both have learned
skills around navigating in the

102
00:08:21,480 --> 00:08:27,150
world as it is and also don't
let the oppressor define our

103
00:08:27,150 --> 00:08:31,830
purpose in life. Don't let the
oppressor define what key words

104
00:08:32,100 --> 00:08:37,410
that our ancestors helps to
develop over time, to not let

105
00:08:37,410 --> 00:08:43,140
them co opt our understanding of
words and concepts and tools

106
00:08:43,140 --> 00:08:47,610
that are medicine, that are
essential medicine during this

107
00:08:47,610 --> 00:08:53,280
time of great flux and shifting
and turning. It's all the more

108
00:08:53,280 --> 00:08:59,790
important that we understand
that resilience is key, and

109
00:08:59,790 --> 00:09:04,230
learning a form of resilience
and learning forms of resilience

110
00:09:04,260 --> 00:09:09,240
that weave in understandings of
our animal nature understandings

111
00:09:09,240 --> 00:09:14,040
of our neurology understandings
of the dynamics of collective

112
00:09:14,040 --> 00:09:18,780
and individual harm, and having
a trauma informed analysis. That

113
00:09:18,780 --> 00:09:24,990
not just leads to a hustling and
barreling through. But a nuanced

114
00:09:24,990 --> 00:09:29,880
strategy that helps us suss out
what really is truly needed

115
00:09:29,880 --> 00:09:33,420
here. And do I actually need a
break in this moment? And

116
00:09:33,420 --> 00:09:37,920
looking at the long game, and
figuring out what are key short

117
00:09:37,920 --> 00:09:43,590
term wins that are leveraged?
How do I take time to heal? How

118
00:09:43,590 --> 00:09:47,940
do I work in collaboration with
other folks? How do I have this

119
00:09:47,940 --> 00:09:54,360
whole improv jazz style approach
that I am embodying along with a

120
00:09:54,360 --> 00:09:59,340
coalition and a movement of
other kindred spirits? That is

121
00:10:00,480 --> 00:10:05,280
As I've said a couple times now
in service of what we want, we

122
00:10:05,280 --> 00:10:11,610
get to set those terms. And, as
per usual, a number of us nearly

123
00:10:11,610 --> 00:10:14,790
all of us have conditioning that
contradicts that. But we can

124
00:10:14,790 --> 00:10:21,600
take time to heal from that. And
bolster our internal and shared

125
00:10:21,630 --> 00:10:28,920
clarity around these principles,
and begin moving. Like engaging

126
00:10:28,920 --> 00:10:31,740
in that healing, and begin
moving from strength to

127
00:10:31,740 --> 00:10:34,290
strength. And part of what
enables us to consistently

128
00:10:34,290 --> 00:10:38,550
resiliently move from strength
to strength is by weaving in

129
00:10:38,550 --> 00:10:42,750
that spirituality, weaving in
trauma, informed awareness and

130
00:10:42,750 --> 00:10:48,540
healing, weaving in that radical
imagination and joy and starting

131
00:10:48,540 --> 00:10:54,000
to feel into the solution. And
the liberation that we seek and

132
00:10:54,000 --> 00:10:57,600
start to embody it now. So that
it's not some far off thing. But

133
00:10:57,600 --> 00:11:02,130
we begin living it now. And that
is what we're going to be doing

134
00:11:02,160 --> 00:11:07,110
a deep dive in next week, in
concise little one hour,

135
00:11:07,140 --> 00:11:09,690
potentially two hour for those
of some folks want to hang back

136
00:11:09,690 --> 00:11:11,730
and ask different questions. And
if I have the energy for it,

137
00:11:11,730 --> 00:11:14,760
maybe an hour and a half, an
extra half an hour of some q&a,

138
00:11:14,760 --> 00:11:18,990
and coaching and additional
sharing out in interaction. But

139
00:11:19,080 --> 00:11:24,330
officially an hour each day over
the course of nine days, we'll

140
00:11:24,330 --> 00:11:28,770
take off for Shabbat. And we're
going to walk through day zero

141
00:11:28,950 --> 00:11:33,360
through day six or seven, of
moving through what are

142
00:11:33,360 --> 00:11:38,010
different key insights, and
learning together and giving you

143
00:11:38,010 --> 00:11:40,500
time to start to let this
percolate through and then think

144
00:11:40,500 --> 00:11:43,800
about it. And then you'll have
an opportunity to also consider

145
00:11:43,800 --> 00:11:48,630
Do you want to join an
incubator, a playground, a

146
00:11:48,630 --> 00:11:51,690
leadership for liberation
Laboratory, which is what I've

147
00:11:51,690 --> 00:11:53,910
considered renaming this
program. And that's the banner

148
00:11:53,910 --> 00:11:57,270
of all of our offerings. It's
kind of the banner title of all

149
00:11:57,270 --> 00:12:01,470
of the joys just as offerings at
this time, right? And engage in

150
00:12:01,620 --> 00:12:04,890
tinkering and experimentation
for you around in certain

151
00:12:04,890 --> 00:12:08,370
moments. How brave can you be in
certain moments? What are the

152
00:12:08,790 --> 00:12:11,850
best ways you can deeply and
unapologetically nourish

153
00:12:11,850 --> 00:12:16,740
yourself? That's what resilience
looks like. For me. It is

154
00:12:16,740 --> 00:12:24,240
dynamic, and brave and alive and
aligned with all that we hold

155
00:12:24,240 --> 00:12:28,230
most dear about the movement
elders and leaders and people in

156
00:12:28,230 --> 00:12:31,050
our family who weren't, quote,
unquote, in the movement

157
00:12:31,050 --> 00:12:34,650
officially, but were in the
sense that they were champions

158
00:12:34,680 --> 00:12:40,890
of love and healing and justice
in micro and macro ways. That is

159
00:12:40,890 --> 00:12:50,550
resilience. Not some contrived,
crappy pressure to be constantly

160
00:12:50,550 --> 00:12:53,580
pushed into a corporate mill.
That doesn't give a crap about

161
00:12:53,580 --> 00:12:54,780
us. Nope, no.

162
00:12:57,570 --> 00:13:01,080
Unknown: Resilience is aligned
with emergent strategy. I want

163
00:13:01,080 --> 00:13:04,950
us to have resilience like our
elders and like us when we were

164
00:13:04,950 --> 00:13:09,990
young, before we got hurt in
different ways. That is like

165
00:13:10,320 --> 00:13:14,670
dandelions and trees that can
navigate droughts and also

166
00:13:14,670 --> 00:13:17,250
flourish and bloom in summer
times.

167
00:13:20,130 --> 00:13:23,130
April Baskin: Right that it that
this that there are signs of

168
00:13:23,130 --> 00:13:27,870
gorgeous, robust, powerful
resilience that is in the

169
00:13:27,870 --> 00:13:32,730
service of resilience and well
being and gorgeous poetic

170
00:13:32,730 --> 00:13:37,950
interconnectedness all around
us. And we get to reclaim that

171
00:13:38,280 --> 00:13:42,420
and weave it more deeply into
let it percolate and love that

172
00:13:42,420 --> 00:13:46,230
concept of percolation. Let it
weave and percolate through the

173
00:13:46,230 --> 00:13:51,780
different facets of our living.
So that's it for today, friend,

174
00:13:51,810 --> 00:13:55,920
and again, as always, please
feel free to be in touch. If

175
00:13:55,920 --> 00:13:59,280
this episode resonated please
help spread the word and share

176
00:13:59,280 --> 00:14:04,500
these ideas and this love with
other folks. And also please

177
00:14:04,500 --> 00:14:07,920
feel free to join us Joyce just
to stop comm slash resilience

178
00:14:07,950 --> 00:14:14,190
sign up. You will be invited to
join me for free for a week of

179
00:14:14,190 --> 00:14:18,480
deep nourishment and education,
you'll receive a workbook that

180
00:14:18,480 --> 00:14:20,070
yes has some notes pages. But

181
00:14:20,070 --> 00:14:24,210
Unknown: unlike a lot of
different, lackluster mediocre

182
00:14:24,210 --> 00:14:27,090
or just bad workbooks I've
received in the last couple of

183
00:14:27,090 --> 00:14:32,340
years. This workbook has
valuable content and really

184
00:14:32,340 --> 00:14:35,580
thought well thought out
reflection questions that

185
00:14:35,580 --> 00:14:39,150
complement and support that will
complement and support your

186
00:14:39,150 --> 00:14:45,210
journey over this week and a
half ish experience together. So

187
00:14:45,240 --> 00:14:48,360
I invite you to join also, all
of the sessions will be

188
00:14:48,360 --> 00:14:53,220
recorded. Part of why it's also
long is to really give people a

189
00:14:53,220 --> 00:14:58,860
mini quick, digestible deep dive
into the profound and

190
00:14:58,860 --> 00:15:02,010
transformative content And that
I teach in my longer term

191
00:15:02,010 --> 00:15:07,830
containers. And also, I've set
it up over multiple days so that

192
00:15:07,830 --> 00:15:11,550
if you can't make certain days
or even most, during each of the

193
00:15:11,550 --> 00:15:16,020
days, we do a quick recap of the
prior content. So just feel free

194
00:15:16,020 --> 00:15:19,470
to come as you are able to you
can come to most or all of the

195
00:15:19,470 --> 00:15:23,640
experience, you will be that
much better for it. That will be

196
00:15:23,640 --> 00:15:27,150
wonderful for you, you will be
so deeply nourished, you might

197
00:15:27,150 --> 00:15:29,070
also want to make sure you're
staying hydrated, which I will

198
00:15:29,070 --> 00:15:32,460
remind you to do and nourish
yourself and take it a step at a

199
00:15:32,460 --> 00:15:34,800
time because we're going to be
covering some phenomenal

200
00:15:34,800 --> 00:15:38,730
content. And if uncertain days,
you need to take a break during

201
00:15:38,730 --> 00:15:42,810
that period each day, I will be
sending out the replays. So you

202
00:15:42,810 --> 00:15:45,390
can stay up to date, there's
also a Facebook group to support

203
00:15:45,390 --> 00:15:46,620
all of us to say,

204
00:15:47,730 --> 00:15:51,060
April Baskin: I've done my best
in collaboration with my team,

205
00:15:51,720 --> 00:15:56,520
and various partners to create a
really wonderful, nourishing,

206
00:15:56,550 --> 00:16:01,320
abundant experience, and even
just the experience itself for

207
00:16:01,320 --> 00:16:06,900
you to get a taste of what I
mean by resilience here what to

208
00:16:06,900 --> 00:16:13,410
me ideally, and in practice,
what leadership, what effective

209
00:16:13,410 --> 00:16:14,670
leadership for collective

210
00:16:14,670 --> 00:16:18,510
Unknown: liberation can look
like when we align it with

211
00:16:18,510 --> 00:16:23,430
principles of joyous justice. So
I hope that you will join me, I

212
00:16:23,430 --> 00:16:27,570
hope that you will invite
friends, it's a lot of work.

213
00:16:27,960 --> 00:16:30,570
It's a tremendous amount of work
that I do. And it's a profound

214
00:16:30,570 --> 00:16:36,960
labor of love. So the more the
merrier. And also to if there's

215
00:16:36,960 --> 00:16:39,420
someone I invite you to think
about specifically, if there's a

216
00:16:39,420 --> 00:16:42,540
broader network, you want to
send this to a team or committee

217
00:16:42,540 --> 00:16:45,750
you're on, that's great. And
also what might be even more

218
00:16:45,750 --> 00:16:51,090
beneficial for some of you. And
for you specifically, is if

219
00:16:51,090 --> 00:16:54,000
you're navigating something
right now in particular, where

220
00:16:54,210 --> 00:16:57,270
you think some of these
principles will be especially

221
00:16:57,270 --> 00:17:02,460
helpful to help up level your
impact and or your well being

222
00:17:02,490 --> 00:17:06,630
whichever or both is live for
you in this moment. If there are

223
00:17:06,630 --> 00:17:10,710
just one or two people with whom
you would love to think this

224
00:17:10,710 --> 00:17:13,560
through with together and go
through this experience, and

225
00:17:13,560 --> 00:17:17,070
then continue to think about and
apply these principles, perhaps

226
00:17:17,070 --> 00:17:22,950
invite that or those special
people and kindred spirits. And

227
00:17:22,950 --> 00:17:27,270
that more refined discernment is
exciting for me to think about

228
00:17:27,270 --> 00:17:33,030
in terms of the kinds of souls I
will have the pleasure of, of CO

229
00:17:33,030 --> 00:17:36,330
creating with over the course of
the next week and and helping to

230
00:17:36,330 --> 00:17:39,120
guide and facilitate their
experience. And there's already

231
00:17:39,120 --> 00:17:42,150
some really remarkable people in
the space. So I can guarantee

232
00:17:42,150 --> 00:17:47,220
you, y'all will be met. You will
be a an incredibly good company.

233
00:17:47,310 --> 00:17:52,860
And when I say y'all, I mean you
and whoever you invite. And I've

234
00:17:52,860 --> 00:17:57,360
had a few people say in previous
workshops that they kept feeling

235
00:17:57,360 --> 00:18:00,150
like they were getting lucky
when they were in paired or

236
00:18:00,150 --> 00:18:02,880
breakout groups. And then they
started noticing like, oh, no,

237
00:18:02,880 --> 00:18:06,330
like, everybody in this space is
just incredibly thoughtful and

238
00:18:06,330 --> 00:18:10,170
wonderful. And it's and it's
really true. So hopefully you

239
00:18:10,170 --> 00:18:12,510
will join us and

240
00:18:14,910 --> 00:18:19,260
April Baskin: my Kavanaugh, my
wish my prayer for you is that

241
00:18:21,480 --> 00:18:26,760
in the coming days and weeks
ahead, you start noticing

242
00:18:26,790 --> 00:18:31,590
affirmations, signs
synchronicities in your

243
00:18:31,590 --> 00:18:34,650
consciousness that are arising
spontaneously or in the world

244
00:18:34,650 --> 00:18:41,550
around you that affirm your
dreams, and your values. And the

245
00:18:41,550 --> 00:18:44,700
ones that are quiet right now
that don't want to be quiet

246
00:18:44,700 --> 00:18:49,440
anymore, but haven't quite found
their rooting and they're still

247
00:18:49,440 --> 00:18:53,340
just below the surface of the
soil of your consciousness or

248
00:18:53,340 --> 00:18:58,620
your public expression. My hope
is whatever is wanting or is in

249
00:18:58,620 --> 00:19:03,090
the process of unfurling in your
life, that either in big ways it

250
00:19:03,090 --> 00:19:06,660
ideally in big ways and if not
in big ways that you get just

251
00:19:06,690 --> 00:19:10,890
enough affirmation and
encouragement and resonance

252
00:19:10,920 --> 00:19:17,070
around you to buoy you and
support you in deepening your

253
00:19:17,070 --> 00:19:23,940
belief that it is possible to
live life on more liberatory

254
00:19:23,970 --> 00:19:29,100
terms and on more joyous terms,
and that you don't have to do it

255
00:19:29,100 --> 00:19:33,030
alone but you are never alone,
and that we are deeply and

256
00:19:33,030 --> 00:19:39,690
profoundly in this together. Can
you hear us own may this be the

257
00:19:39,690 --> 00:19:43,680
divine as well and wishing you
much love in the meantime, bye

258
